Grade 4 Social Studies

We are learning all about maps this week in social studies. The students are watching videos, then working with maps in the classroom.

We are on our final region of the United States.  Students can use the links  to study states and capitals of the West region; they can also explore landforms, and industries! 












Ecosystems and Food Webs

Students in fourth grade will use the study jams to review ecosystems and food webs.  After watching the videos, please take the time to put notes in your science notebook.

Midwest Region

Moving on to the Midwest Region!  Students:  please watch the series of videos at this link to help build background knowledge of the region, including its landforms, history, and economy.

Southeast Region Test Prep

The 4th grade students will have a test on the Southeast Region of the United States.  Students should visit the link below to help prepare for the test.  Make sure to do the games and quizzes. 


 In addition to the text, students should also be prepared to label the states and capitals of the SE Region. Visit the sites listed in the previous posts to practice lessons.
