Compare and Contrast Paper

Last week the students read two stories about how pets and domestic animals can become a problem when released into the wild.  They compared and contrasted the impact of these invasive species - taking notes and charting similarities and differences.  Now they are ready to write!

This week, students will write a four-paragraph, well-organized paper comparing and contrasting the impact of  "Monster Goldfish" and "Pigs on the Loose."  To help them along, we will use the following resources from ReadWriteThink.org to help map out their papers while incorporating some awesome transition words.
